Functionality

Silos for dry-scrubbing solvent and filter ash are always filled from above and emptied from below.

During tapping, a funnel is formed by the outlet nozzle at the bottom, into which the filling substance from the different filling layers runs and exits again as a mixture of product quantities filled into the silo earlier and later.

Therefore, the silo size must always match the plant!

Especially for the dry-scrubbing solvent, it is absolutely necessary to avoid carelessly removing from below in case of silo falsification.

In the case of incorrect filling, it can make sense to remove the incorrectly loaded product from the top of the silo using a suction cup.

Depending on the material, a valve (e.g. a gate valve) or a mechanical conveyor (e.g. a screw conveyor) is used for removal.
